The Business
Regan’s limited edition wearable art collection features her original paintings printed on the fabric. The colorful prints on her kaftans have been carefully chosen from her original paintings and are designed to have the WOW factor.
The inspiration for her paintings comes from her travels, surroundings and experiences which have been painted in her Cairns and Brisbane art studios.
Her limited-edition kaftans are unique with only a handful of each print being produced, the fabric is printed in Brisbane and made in Cairns.
Each garment has been lovingly put together using quality deluxe chiffon and can be worn by women in various shapes and sizes. The flowy and fluid feel of the material makes you feel confident as well as comfortable, you can dress right up for a special event or keep it casual for a BBQ with friends. Either way, you will be asked ‘Where did you get that Kaftan from?’
The Designer - Regan O’Neill
Regan O’Neill is a true local, born in Cairns and has been painting and selling her artworks throughout Australia and overseas for over 27 years.
She has run her own art gallery and held fashion shows in Brisbane, collaborating with Camilla and other designers. Regan also has a background in building design and real estate. Her husband John is very supportive and provides great feedback when needed.
Regan believes ‘Wearing colour is fun and life is about having fun’.

These very unique Kaftan Dresses feature Regan O’Neill’s original artwork printed on the fabric. Each garment has been meticulously put together using quality deluxe chiffon and is 100% proudly made in Queensland.
The business
Loungewear is something I wear all day every day especially if I am at home. Finding something not only comfortable but you were able to wear inside AND outside.
Something that you can chuck on and if you needed to leave the house for brunch with the girls you could totally do that and not get judged. To be honest I think this collection is just my laziness coming out. Who can be bothered changing if you are just quickly running to the shops.
Linen wear. Based in beautiful Cairns, QLD we are forever in summer; and it's no lie that wearing tight clothes that stick to you is probably one of the worst things to happen.
While your makeup is melting off and your tan is golden (unfortunately for myself my colors are fluro white or tomato red- so fake tan for me please) the last thing you need is to think about how your clothing is sticking to you.
I created this collection for the tropics all year round. Whether that's for living in warmer weather every day or if you're on your way to a beach holiday. This collection is mostly lighter colors as darker ones soak up a lot more heat (as I have learnt living up is FNQ for the past 15 years)
This brand is something I can't wait to see grow and flourish into the linen and loungewear brand I know it will be.

Lorena The Label - Something I had wanted to create for over 8 years. A brand that is not only beautiful but represents myself- comfort, quality and style.
I created this brand right in the middle of a pandemic. April 2020. And I haven't looked back since.
My name is Lauren Higgs and my background is Italian- fun fact- 'Lorena' is Lauren in Italian. Which is where the name has come from. It took me a long time to create a name that I love and as soon as I heard it I was obsessed! I wanted something that was different but still was me.
Lorena is something I have put my heart and soul into. Every penny, every spare moment, everything I have into not only the brand but every single collection and piece that has Lorena written on it.

This collection on the runway will be some of our classic linen items and some new beauties in different colors to add to the collection.

I hand make and design swimwear and masks. I also design Cosplay bikini calendars, with every purchase of a calendar raising money for my mother.
The Calendars also support local businesses and I use a local team - Makeup and photographer
My products can be purchased via ebay or on my online website.
I do markets from time to time and i also have a stall at the cairns show every year

i'll make up a new range to suit to models and include a couple cover ups but going to aim for a tropical fun vibe with bright colors/patterns
